Guymon Public Library Mission Statement

Guymon residents will have access to innovative library services, delivered in an efficient and effective manner, that will

• provide public spaces for meeting and gathering that are recognized as inviting, neutral, and safe by all individuals and groups in the community;
• provide specialized collections, which represent the cultural heritage of the community in their own language and that reflect the history of the area and promote genealogy research;
• provide support for learning, including local schools, home schools, basic literacy, English as a Second Language, and basic research; and 
• provide current topics and titles in addition to general information collections in a variety of formats.
